Booking FAQs

What’s it like working with the Deltonians?

We pride ourselves on being easy to work with. We will take the hassle out of the musical side of your event.

Firstly, we’re calm and professional. We have high end professional music and sound equipment, and we will take our time to get that set up properly to give your guests the best possible experience. We will be respectful and polite, not demanding. We’re there for you and your clients, not our egos.

We don’t use any backing tracks. Live is live with us. We enjoy ourselves.

If you want a band to play quietly in the corner while your guests chat and mingle, don’t book The Deltonians! We’re not that sort of band. We’re more ‘active’ than that. We want to make people dance and just have a great time.

How do I book the Deltonians?

Just go to the Contacts page and send us a message.

What do you charge?

It depends on the event. If we really like the cause, we would do charity gigs for free.

We recognize that it’s tough running a live music venue these days, so you will find our rates competitive for pubs, bars and clubs. Our rates for these start at around £300, but it depends how far we have to travel and how long you want us to play.

For weddings, parties, and corporate events, again it depends on what you want and how far we need to travel. Prices start at around £600 for a local event.

For festivals, let’s talk.

But everything is negotiable, right?

What sort of stuff do you play?

You can see a sample of our set list, and we’d be happy to discuss what you’d like in advance. It’s a real mix of 60’s stuff all the way through to more modern songs. We’re learning new songs all the time. We seem to do a lot from the 80’s.

You can also check out our YouTube channel for some actual recordings of us playing.

How long do you play for?

It depends what you want. We would typically do two sets of 45-60 minutes each, with a short interval.

What do you need a venue to provide?

A stage area and power. We bring everything else, including a sound engineer.

The venue is responsible for having a PRS license to cover live music. We can provide a setlist to the venue if required.

For festivals etc, see out Tech Specs page, which describes our technical setup.

Do you have insurance?

Yes – we have £5 million Public Liability Insurance and £1 million Professional Indemnity insurance.

Do you accept JustPay?

Yes. We’ll be as flexible as possible when it comes to you giving us money!
