The Deltonians use state of the art sound equipment to deliver crisp, clear sound for your event.

We’re proud of the music we play, and we want you to hear it in all its glory.

We can do ‘loud’ if you need it, but clarity is king. We want our music to be enjoyable to listen to and not painful.

We can do clear and loud at the same time if the occasion demands!

The technology is designed to give the clearest possible sound for the audience and for the band. Because when musicians can hear themselves properly, they play better.

The heart of our sound system is our Allen & Heath 24-channel digital mixing desk.

It can be controlled via an iPad so our sound engineer can mingle with the audience, hearing what they hear to get the sound just right.

The band generally hear themselves through earpieces, and they can use their phones to control what they hear. This makes it very easy for them to stay in time and respond to each other.

A fancy mixer is one thing, but the audience needs to hear the music.

That is where our professional level speaker system comes into its own.

We use a pair of RCF Evox-12 speaker arrays, which provide astonishing clarity, even at high volume.

We don’t tend to push them all that hard though.

Instruments

The best sound system is only as good as the sounds you give it. That’s why we’ve invested in some great instruments.

From David’s fretless bass and John’s plethora of guitars and fancy effects pedals, we’re off to a great start.

Meredith’s electric violin can make some astonishing sounds thanks to her guitar effects pedal, and her formidable talent.

Al plays an electronic drum kit, which gives controllability and flexibility of sound. He converted it from an acoustic kit.
